Swedish Agency for Accessible Media, MTM, is under the administration of the Ministry of Culture. Our mandate is to ensure that all persons with reading impairments can access literature, information and daily newspapers through media and format appropriate to them.
Since January 1, 2015 the field of Easy-to-Read which the Center for Easy-to-Read has carried out since 1987, is part of the agency. All the staff from the Center for Easy-to-Read now is part of the agency.
+20 years of experience running training, workshops in how to write easy-to-read and to make information, literature and news accessible for persons with reading difficulties due to intellectual disabilities, other disabilities, dyslexia, having Swedish as a second language or being an un-trained reader.
